Cheer

This year has been a huge change for Aleah. She is in band now. she moved up to level 5 in cheer leading and she started a cheer class at Flights Gymnastics.

1st day of school!

This year Aleah has a lot going on!!! She is in cheer leading and band! She tested up in cheer leading! So now we spend our Saturdays and some Wednesdays at open gym! she is getting close to her back walkovers! and each day she is playing her clarinet! :)

It Is Summer!!!!!

We opened the pool on Thursday.... Friday Aleah went in for a few...it was COLD!!! When I got home from work at 5pm Saturday Aleah had been in the pool since 1pm!!! we got her out to eat dinner....she played out of the pool for a while....then SPLASH!!! right back in!!! And BOY is she DARK already!!! Gotta love summer...... :)

Aleah got her report card

Aleah got her report card last week! She is doing very well! she got one A and the rest are B's or B+'s!!!! she is still having a hard time with the reading but is in 2 programs to help! Her teacher says she is doing well with the programs! she is in the 10 minute club (running skipping or galloping for 10 min) She loves going to school!!

And cheer leading starts next week!!! she is super excited for that!!!!

We are very proud of her and hope that she will enjoy school for years to come!!!

On another note...she has said for 2 years now she wants to be a NICU nurse. The other night we watched a show on conjoined twins and she was not grossed out at all she watched the surgery and everything and was looking at me funny cause I had to look away! we may well have a NICU nurse in the making!!!! :)

New Year....New Changes!

Well this year is starting off on the right foot for us!!! I got a raise!!! and then about 2 days later I became full time at work!!! YAY!!! I know I know! I am going to miss having 3 days off.....but its all for the better :)

CHEER TIME!

On Saturday Aleah had her cheer competition! Aleah has been doing very well this year! THEY GOT SECOND PLACE!!! oh we are so excited for her! now she gets to cheer at the state competition in January! YAY! GO COOPERSVILLE!

FIRST SNOW DAY!

Our first real snow of the season and BOY did we get A TON!

Aleah has been outside since about 7:45am!

Now she is going to play with a friend inside because she said

she has had enough snow for now....

I wish I had her energy!

Field Trip!

Aleah and John went to the Capital for a field trip! Looks like they had fun. Even learned a few things! :) John said it was funny on the bus because most of kids had a DS....so they had fun!

CHEER LEADING!!!!!!!!

Well it is almost that time again!!! cheer competition! 3 weeks away! Aleah is so excited! each week she has been coming home sooooooo ready to show us her new moves! Well this year we have to buy her a whole new outfit! because she has grown sooooo much this summer.... and well because she has had the same skirt since she started.......(4 years ago) so its time!!! and they get a new skirt! more updated skirt! shes excited about that too! so it has just been a great year for cheer leading! and her coach MANDY! AWESOME! so great with the kids :) I cannot wait to post pictures of aleah at competition!!!! GO COOPERSVILLE GIRLS!!!!

Aleah is 9!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our baby girl turned 9 Saturday!!! We had a fun filled weekend.... Friday night we went to Grandma and Grandpas house. We ate dinner and had cake.Opened presents... Aleah got to play with Dani.... She got ZuZu pets, all kinds of stuff for doing her nails, and CLOTHES! Saturday we spent the day having FUN! We went bowling! Aleah did good.... she learned more about bowling . Not using the bumpers as much! YAY! then we did a little shopping.... then to DINNER!!! she got to have SWEET AND SOUR CHICKEN!!! (her fav) then we rented movies and chilled for the night :) it was a fun weekend :) I LOVE YOU ALEAH!

Trick Or Treating went well! Aleah went with her friend and had a blast... but bitter sweet... Now that she is getting older it is not as cool to hang out with mom and dad! But on the plus side...shes watching a movie with dad! so we still get some Aleah time! I had mine 2 nights ago... we baked cookies

SICKY KIDDIES

One by one the kids around here are getting sick! First Justin now Mike, and Aleah was coughing this AM! So I made an appt for Mike this afternoon.... and had to push his infusion back 2 weeks! So wish us luck through the swine flu......

Super wet weekend!

What a wet weekend.... Friday night was Aleahs night to cheer with the varsity sideline girls! She was sooo excited! She did very well for her first time!!! There is one cheer where they clap thier hands then clap eachothers hands. The ones on the end have to put thier hand on thier hip! the girl aleah was next to couldn't do it at the practice so they asked Aleah.... SHE GOT IT! so she was super geeked that she got to do something a little bit different then everyone else! she is really starting to pay alot more attention and hit all her motions!!! even at Cheer America! she hit all the moves they learned the week before like she did them for 5 years! im just glad to see it all coming around.... and all because...... she wants to be a sideline cheerleader!

Fall is here!

I am so excited around this time of year!!! Leaves changing, kids back in school, and most of all HALLOWEEN! We had a trick or treat thing at work and so John and I took Aleah up there. took 20 mins to get her ready! and she won 2nd place! she was so happy! and the week before she was in the "halloween fashion show" at work!
